Shipping and Receiving Admin Clerk

Seeking a highly committed individual to join our team as a full-time shipping and receiving clerk at our Cerritos warehouse facility. Ideal candidate will be punctual, dependable with a positive attitude, and detail-oriented with an ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

 

Job duties for Shipping include:

  • Generate daily open order reports to help monitor and maintain customer sales order movement
  • Print and organize picking lists for orders up to 1 week in advance. Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring that the exact order quantity and type of product is picked and shipped
  • Communicate with carriers to acquire freight rates for LTL and FTL orders
  • Post orders in warehouse ERP system and create BOL for shipping
  • File paperwork and update inventory to ensure proper inventory control is maintained. Assist in physical inventory counts

Job duties for Receiving include:

  • Print receiving paperwork for inbound shipments
  • Print corresponding pallet labels and update pallet info in warehouse ERP system
  • Check and verify receiving quantity and items against packing lists
  • File paperwork and update inventory locations

 

Successful candidates will have:

  • Minimum 1-2 years related experience in shipping and receiving
  • English verbal written and communication skills
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office programs (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, etc.)
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and handle multiple priorities
  • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics Navision (NAV) ERP system is preferred
